Memorial Brick Walkway
Honor a coal miner, a loved one, or a local business with a personalized brick in our Memorial Brick Walkway. Each brick becomes a lasting part of the museum, and the money raised supports museum infrastructure, exhibits, educational programs, and the care of our collection. Bricks range from $100 to $300.
Where things stand: Phase One of the memorial walkway was completed in July 2024. We are now taking orders for Phase Two, and new bricks will be installed as the next section of the walkway is built.
There are three ways to order your brick:
- By check: download the brick order form (PDF). Complete the form and mail it with a check to the Coal Creek Miners Museum at P.O. Box 223, Rocky Top, TN 37769.
- By cash: if you would like to order a brick in-person with cash, visit the museum during operating hours or call the museum, and a representative can schedule a time to meet with you to collect your order.
- By credit or debit card: Order a brick online with a credit or debit card. You will be redirected to an affiliated site where you can place your order.
The Coal Creek Miners Museum reserves the right to deny any brick donation application that it determines to be inappropriate by virtue of the stated or implied message. No addresses, phone numbers, or websites will be permitted on bricks.

Q: Does the brick have to list a miner’s name?
A: No, the brick can list any individual’s name or business.
Q: Can I purchase multiple bricks to be placed together?
A: Yes. However, please note on your order form or call/visit the museum to express your desire to have the brick placed together.
