Become a Member
The Coal Creek Miners Museum’s mission is to preserve, honor, and promote the rich history of Coal Creek and coal mining in general. If you support this mission, we would love for you to join our efforts by becoming a museum member. There are all different levels and all the funds will be used to further the museum’s mission. Donate to the museum.
All monetary donations are appreciated at the museum. The museum is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that is run by a group of volunteer board members and staffed by dedicated volunteers. All donations go to preserving and telling the history of coal mining in our region which includes keeping the lights on at the museum. You can mail your donation to the Coal Creek Miners Museum at P. O. Box 223, Rocky Top, TN 37769, bring your donation by the museum located at 201 South Main Street in Rocky Top, or donate online with a credit or debit card.
Honor someone with a memorial brick
Add a personalized brick to our Memorial Brick Walkway in honor of a coal miner, a loved one, or a local business. Bricks range from $100 to $300, and Phase Two orders are open now. Order a memorial brick.
Give to the Capital Campaign
Our second floor is now open, doubling the museum’s exhibit space! Read more about the expansion. Visit Our Gift Shop
The museum has t-shirts, coal items, scrip, and much more at the gift shop. The most popular item is the book about Coal Creek. Stop in the museum Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to make a purchase.
