After much hard work, and with the community’s generosity, we have opened the second floor of Coal Creek Miners Museum!

Check out our NEW exhibits:
– Step into the past with a life-size mine, company store, and company house
– Watch videos about our local history in the Opera House
– See amazing drone footage of the many historic locations
– Quiz your coal mining knowledge with interactive exhibits
– Immerse yourself in countless new photographs from miners’ daily lives

We also have a SEASONAL exhibit that will rotate every few months.
Our current exhibit is brought to you by TENNESSEE BLACK LUNG PROGRAM.
